Welcome to xPostio

What xPostio does, how an offer reaches your customer, and the one Shopify setting that has to be switched on first.

xPostio adds a one-click offer page to your Shopify checkout, right after the customer pays and before the Thank you page. The customer has already trusted you with their card, so a well-chosen extra product at a small discount is the easiest sale of the day. If they accept, the item is added to the same order and charged to the same card. No second checkout, no new card details.

How it works

  1. A customer pays. Shopify places the order as usual.
  2. xPostio checks your live workflow. It picks the first offer whose rules match this order. If none matches, the customer goes straight to the Thank you page and never sees anything.
  3. The offer page opens. It shows the offer you built, with products picked for this customer and the exact price including shipping and taxes.
  4. One click. Add to my order adds the items to the order and charges the same card. No thanks moves on.
  5. Maybe more. On Growth and Pro, depending on each answer, the customer can see another offer, up to three in a row. On Free, they see one offer.
  6. Thank-you screen. xPostio shows a short thank-you screen, and its button takes the customer to your normal Order status page.

What you can offer

  • Percentage off — for example 20% off the recommended products.
  • Fixed amount off — for example $10 off the whole selection.
  • Buy X Get Y — the customer picks a product and gets a gift at a discount, or free.
  • Free shipping on the items they add.

Each offer can show products picked by AI from your catalogue to match what the customer just bought: up to 1 on Free, 3 on Growth and 10 on Pro. On Growth and Pro you can also add a countdown timer and targeting rules that decide which orders see which offer. The Free plan includes percentage offers. See Plans and billing.

See Discount types for each one in detail.

What makes xPostio different

Rules that target the right order

An offer only shows to orders that match its rules: how many items were bought, the order total, and how much stock the offered products have. Offers that don’t match are skipped: the customer goes down that offer’s Offer declined branch, or to the Thank you page if nothing is connected there. See Targeting rules.

The price is always the real price

The offer page shows what the customer will actually pay, calculated by Shopify with shipping and taxes. The discount the customer sees is exactly the discount they get.

Connect the AI you already use

xPostio has no chatbot of its own. On the Pro plan, you connect the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and it can build and manage your offers for you. See Connect AI.

Before you start

Shopify shows one post-purchase app per store. You select it in your Shopify admin under Settings → Checkout → Post-purchase page. Until xPostio is selected there, no offer appears. The setup guide on the Home page walks you through it.

Shopify also doesn’t show the post-purchase page for every order, for example for some wallets and payment methods. See Troubleshooting for the full list.
