Connect your store. Turn it on.
You run the whole store alone. xPostio takes the moment right after checkout: one offer, one tap, added to the order the shopper has already paid for. Build the flow on a canvas, or on the Pro plan connect the AI you already use and describe it in plain words.
Three steps to a bigger order
Install it and select it in your checkout settings, build one workflow, design the page. xPostio takes it from there.
Install and select xPostio
Add xPostio from the Shopify App Store, then in your Shopify admin open Settings → Checkout → Post-purchase page and select xPostio. Shopify shows one post-purchase app per store, and until you select it no offer appears.
Build one workflow
Drag an Offer step onto the Post-purchase trigger, pick the discount type and value, and set how many products it can show. Then turn the workflow on. Only one workflow can be on at a time.
Design the page and read the numbers
Lay out the offer page in Settings → Post-purchase, then place a test order. Home shows Revenue added, Customers reached, Offers accepted and your best offer for the last 30 days.
What happens after you install
Your catalogue comes with you
xPostio reads your products straight from Shopify. No spreadsheets to upload, nothing to set up by hand. When an order is paid for, it has everything it needs to compare what the shopper bought against the rest of your catalogue.
Build the offer
The canvas starts with the post-purchase trigger already in place. Add an offer and pick the type: a percentage off, a fixed amount, buy X get Y, or free shipping. Free includes the percentage offer; the other three are on Growth and Pro. Set the value, cap how many products can appear with Max Products in Offer, and on Growth and Pro add targeting rules or a countdown.
Or tell your AI what you want
On the Pro plan, connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client to your store and describe it in plain words: "Create a post-purchase offer with 20% off, only for orders over $80, and a free-shipping offer if they decline." It builds the whole flow as a draft, and nothing reaches a shopper until you publish it.
Select xPostio in your checkout settings
Shopify shows one post-purchase app per store, and you choose which one. In your Shopify admin go to Settings → Checkout → Post-purchase page, pick xPostio under "Use an app to add features at checkout after payment", and save. Until that is done no offer appears, however the flow is built. The setup guide on the app's home page has a button that takes you straight there.
Turn it on and watch the orders grow
Turn the workflow on and the next paid order sees it. Only one post-purchase workflow can be on at a time. The home page shows your last 30 days: revenue added, customers reached, offers accepted and your best offer. Accepted items join the order they already paid for, so the extra shows up on that order in your normal Shopify reports. Your plan meters customers reached: 30 a month on Free, 500 on Growth, unlimited on Pro.
One thing Shopify decides, not us
Shopify does not open the post-purchase page for every order. It is skipped for wallets and installment services such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay, for gift cards and any payment method other than a credit card, for payment providers that keep the card's security code such as Braintree, Payflow Pro, PayPal Payments Pro and Eway, for orders with duties and multiple currencies, for local delivery, for orders under $0.50, and when Shopify is under very heavy load, for example during a flash sale.

second checkouts
Stop leaving the page after payment empty. Let xPostio sell on it.
Other upsell tools send the shopper back to a checkout they have already been through. xPostio adds to the order in one click.
The old way: the order stops at checkout
- You bolt on an upsell app that sends the shopper through a second checkout, with card details to enter all over again
- You stare at an empty offer, with no idea which product or which discount will actually sell
- You pick the product for every offer by hand, and it is stale a week later
- Your page right after checkout says 'thank you' and nothing else, so every order stays smaller than it could be
- You cannot tell which offer earned anything, so you keep guessing
- You need a developer to change the page the shopper sees
With xPostio
- One app owns the moment after payment, on Shopify's own post-purchase page
- A one click offer goes on the order they already paid for, with no second checkout
- Four discount types: percentage, fixed amount, buy X get Y and free shipping, with an optional countdown on Growth and Pro
- xPostio's AI picks the products in your catalogue most similar to what they just bought, and on buy X get Y you choose the gift
- Branch on accepted or declined and chain the next offer, up to three in a row on Growth and Pro
- Bring your own AI on Pro. Connect Claude or ChatGPT over MCP, and your provider bills you at their rates
